Heard great things about Jon's work on reddit while looking for a twin cities barber that knows what they're doing with beards. We've been bringing our son to Jon for his hair since August of 2022 - our son is AuDHD so it was difficult to find someone he was comfortable with where the noise of the shop wasn't also overwhelming. Jon is truly phenomenal. Our son is able to relax, grab a snack, watch a show of his choice, and his hair looks great every time. It's a very comfortable and clean environment, and we can't recommend The Proper Culture enough.

Fantastic experience!! My son has very difficult hair to cut and many many barbers have messed his hair cut up. Moving to Eagan we were nervous about finding a new barber but the cut was perfect the 1st time!! Literally it was a perfect cut!

Jon was nothing short of amazing. I've been searching for a barber I like and would go back to for a while now. I scheduled a cut and straight razor shave. Total process was about an hour long. This is a private cut/shave, meaning there are no others waiting while you are getting fresh. I really enjoyed the time to get to know Jon. My favorite part of my visit was the straight edge shave. This was the first time I experienced a straight shave, and it was amazing. My face felt buttery smooth for days. I will absolutely be back, and I recommend anyone looking for a cut to check this place out. You get exactly what you pay for.
